What is OGC?

OGC is a virtual community of knowledgeable women and non-binary people working in male-dominated fields. Members are committed to generous support and non-performative info and opportunity sharing.

Members have access to our Slack community, searchable directory, resources, a bi-weekly roundup, open roles, a talent collective to get in front of hiring managers, and more. The bulk of your value will come from the Slack community.

Who should join?

OGC is for women, woman-identifying, and non-binary people working in male-dominated fields. Members have an average of 10 years of experience, but we welcome anyone with at least 3 years in their industry to join us. Despite our name, we welcome all ages.

How much does it cost?

$10/mo or $100/year. Free trial, cancelable anytime. The fees are used to support community operations and membership sponsorships for those who need assistance.

Can I cancel my membership?

Of course. Once you’re accepted, you’ll create a member account through a third party called Memberful, through which you can pause or cancel anytime if you need. You’ll also receive a free trial when you join to be sure you get value.

Can I refer someone to join?

We would love that. You can either send them to jointheogc.com to apply and have them list you as their referral, or you can refer them in our #member-referral-approval channel in Slack so they can skip the line. Our team still reviews every member prior to extending an invitation to join.

Is it just for old girls?

Nope! We welcome women and non-binary people of all ages, as long as they have at least 3 years of experience in their fields. Below is a snapshot of our members’ age ranges as of October 2023:
